It appears that the only browser supported is a Chrome based browser. Internet Explorer and stock Edge are not supported. So, the person has to have the Ring Central App ( Apparently not Ring Central Meetings ) or a Chrome based browser to join the meeting. The app download is 104 MB executable file which will be an issue for many clients.
So, in order to host a meeting, the participants will need to have Chrome or Chrome based Edge or will have to be able to download the Ring Central app as an EXE file. When they download the EXE file, it presents them with a login screen and of course they will not have a login. They then need to go back to the browser and click on the open it now button, say yes to switch apps and then it will work.

I'm happy to announce we recently added support to join RingCentral Video meetings from Firefox (along with Chrome and Edge which we've long supported).
We're working on Safari support in 2023.

Need support for Firefox and Safari. We have Gov customers who for security reasons can't use Chrome or Edge.

So that users and guests can operate in a "frictionless" environment, please add support for Safari browser. Mac users prefer to stay in the Apple ecosystem since the applications are tightly integrated and in general are known to be very secure.

All Chromium based browser’s should work with RCV. I’ve used both Brave and Edge browsers successfully with RCV.
